ADAPT have supported solutions in all aspect of Guidewire manufacture and assembly, from grinding and coiling to final clean and pack. Our Engineering team have worked in the industry and have first-hand knowledge of the device design requirements.

Recently the ADAPT team have used this experience to launch a new standard range of coiling systems to support low cost, high volume manufacturing of spring coil guidewires:

Standard offering of Coiling systems:

AC01

  • Constant closed coil manufacturing
  • 0.003” – 0.008” diameter spring wire
  • SS and PTFE pre-coated SS
  • Coil diameters 0.017” – 0.060”
  • Coil lengths 20cm – 500cm
  • Option to add stretching in-line to replicate coil tension relief section

AC02

  • CNC coil manufacturing (variable pitch control)
  • Open and closed coil manufacturing
  • 0.003” – 0.008” diameter spring wire
  • SS and PTFE pre-coated SS
  • Coil diameters 0.017” – 0.060”
  • Coil lengths 20cm – 500cm
