Semi Automatic

This entry level system offers standalone dipping and curing systems for the application of a single coat. The Operator is required to transfer the product (rack) between the dip and cure stations and initiate each cycle.

The system utilises one dipping chamber and one cure chamber to apply one coat.

Each workstation is PLC controlled offering the option to store set product parameters.

Reciprocating System

The reciprocating system is the entry level, offering the option to apply multiple coats , followed by a cure after each. The system utilises one dipping chamber and a cure chamber.

The system is typically used as a two coat system applying a base (primer) coat followed by a top coat. The dipping chamber will contain separate arrangements for each coating allowing for automated application of both layers, with curing following each layer application.

The PLC offers individual control of unique parameters for each step.
The system design is flexible, dependant on cleanroom ceiling height, product length and required coated length. In addition to a custom solution, ADAPT offer two standard systems on a fixed cost and lead-time:

In-line System

The inline system offers improved capacity, with individual dipping and curing chambers for each coat. The system is modular allowing for coating of 1, 2 or more layers on one product.

The PLC offers individual control of unique parameters for each step.

Velacure

In partnership with Efsen Denmark, Adapt systems now offer the latest curing technology with the addition of the VelaCure 3D™ photo-induction chamber. This system offers:

  • A unique approach to getting high uniform UV curing of products
  • Highly reflective chamber resulting in UV light completely surrounding part
  • All part surfaces are treated and cured simultaneously
  • Lower temperature compared to UV lamps
  • Faster cycle time in comparison to UV lamps
